Parenting that Works
The goal of this book is to offer some other ways of approaching the common parent-child interactions. Thereby taking away some of the stress that occurs for the parents going through their parenting duties. As well as relieving stress for the children, who feel a bit “off center” when they know that what they are being told and what they feel in their hearts are so different.
There are four parts to this book:
- A Primer on the DISC Behavioral Model as it applies to the challenges of parenting.
- Philosophies to apply for happier, healthier children… and parents or adults who may need to parent themselves because they were not parented along these same lines of thought.
- Tips and advice both from the authors and other parenting experts.
- Resources, Stories, FAQ’s and Recommended Reading.
